Tortola, British Virgin Islands | February 24, 2026
Virgin Islands residents are invited to nominate deserving honourees for the Virgin Islands Icon Awards 2026 by Saturday, February 28 at 5:00 PM — this is the final opportunity to submit.
For more than a year, potential candidates have been reviewed across each award category, where an assembly of judges has recognised outstanding individuals, organisations, and businesses whose work and impact deserve recognition.
“We know excellence exists across every corner of our community and this process allows the public to help us ensure that no impactful story goes untold and no deserving contributor goes unrecognised.”
— Kareem Nelson Hull, Founder & Executive Producer, VI Icon Awards
Members of the public are encouraged to submit nominations highlighting why their chosen nominee should be considered for official recognition. Submissions should clearly outline the nominee’s:
- Achievements and accomplishments
- Contributions to the Virgin Islands
- Measurable impact on the community
- Leadership and innovation
- Legacy and long-term influence
Supporting details and examples are strongly encouraged. All submissions will be carefully reviewed and deliberated, resulting in only five official nominees per category.
The Virgin Islands Icon Awards celebrate individuals, organisations, and businesses that exemplify excellence, leadership, service, and transformative impact within the Territory and beyond.
Community members are urged to take this opportunity to spotlight those who have made a lasting difference. Be thorough, be detailed, and make the case. Late submissions will not be accepted.
